There is room for quiet conversation and the refreshment of a swim in the pond. There is time and space for labyrinth walking, gardening, journaling and meditating. Maybe you want to look through the spirituality books in the Library of the Retreat House, or spend some time in prayer in the Chapel. However you choose to make yourself available to God, you will find room for that meeting and ways to make yourself open to that grace.
Our programs help you learn about and experience God’s presence in nature and within ourselves and to feel the sacredness of the earth and all its living things. Tigg’s Pond Retreat Center is a certified wildlife habitat and sanctuary and an organic area. We actively promote sustainable practices and advocate for good stewardship of the environment. In trying to model openness and hospitality in all that we do, we strive to provide barrier free access to all our buildings and grounds.
